INO 2026 Registration Now Open:
Important Update for NSE-Qualified Students

The Indian National Olympiad (INO) 2026 registration process has officially begun under the supervision of the Homi Bhabha Centre for Science Education (HBCSE), TIFR. This stage is mandatory for all students who have successfully qualified the National Standard Examinations (NSE) 2025–26.

Students who fail to complete the registration within the stipulated timeline will be disqualified from INO 2026, irrespective of their NSE performance.

📌 About the Indian National Olympiad (INO)

The Indian National Olympiad (INO) is the second and most critical stage in India’s Olympiad selection pathway, conducted in the following subjects:

  • INMO – Mathematics

  • INAO – Astronomy

  • INChO – Chemistry

  • INPhO – Physics

  • INBO – Biology

  • INJSO – Junior Science

 

Only NSE-qualified students are eligible to appear for INO, making timely registration absolutely essential.

⚠️ No requests for registration extension or examination centre change will be entertained after 17 January 2026.

  • Examination centre must be chosen during registration

  • Change of examination centre is not permitted after registration closes

  • Errors in name, class, or gender must be corrected with valid documents (Aadhaar / Passport / Birth Certificate)

  • Hall tickets will be issued online only
